Contest: Micro Centrality ¨La Y¨ for the new 2040 plan in Quito - Ecuador: An urban design response to the new inclusive city model. The proposal introduces new densities and a mix use to reduce commute distances; promotes the compact city as goes hand in hand to a massive transportation system such as the Metro which is currently under construction. It creates local jobs to boost the local economy. There is emphasis on green public space, this being the catalyst for sense of community.
